50 Snacks Under 100 Calories

A few months ago I made a post listing what 100 calories of certain foods looked like. A lot of you seemed to like that post so I thought I’d make another one, but slightly different. This time I’m going to list a bunch of snacks that are 100 calories or under!

1. Egg Whites & Toast
One slice of toasted wholewheat bread with two scrambled egg whites.

2. Rice Cake & Almond Butter
Top a rice cake with 2 teaspoons almond butter.

3. Chocolate Banana
1/2 frozen banana dipped in 2 teaspoons of melted dark chocolate.

4. S’mores
2 graham cracker squares with 8 roasted miniature marshmallows and 1 teaspoon dark chocolate chips.

5. Kale Chips
2 cups raw kale baked at 205°C.

6. Berries ‘n’ Cream
1 cup blueberries with 2 tablespoons whipped topping.

7. Carrots & Hummus
12 medium baby carrots with 2 tablespoons hummus.

8. Pretzels & Cream Cheese
15 mini pretzel sticks with 2 tablespoons fat-free cream cheese.

9. Apples & Peanut Butter
1/2 slice apple dipped into 1/2 tablespoon natural peanut butter.

10. Chocolate-Hazelnut Crackers
5 Wheat Thins dipped in 1/2 tablespoon Nutella.

11. Egg Whites & Toast
1 slice whole-wheat bread, toasted with two scrambled egg whites.

12. Watermelon Salad
1 cup raw spinach with 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar and 3/4 cup diced watermelon.

13. Cottage Cheese & Rockmelon Cantaloupe)
1/2 cup of low-fat cottage cheese with 1/2 cup of diced rockmelon (cantaloupe).

14. Chocolate Covered Strawberries
7 medium-sized strawberries dipped in 1 tablespoon of melted dark chocolate.

15. Sweet Potato Fries
1 small sweet potato, sliced and baked at 205°C for 10 minutes.

16. Strawberry Salad
2 cups raw spinach with 1 cup sliced strawberries and 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar.

17. Pumpkin Yogurt
1/2 cup nonfat, plain Greek yogurt with 1/4 cup pumpkin purée. Sweeten with stevia and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.

18. Avocado Rice Cake
1 rice cake with 1/4 of mashed avocado.

19. DIY Popsicle
Freeze 170 ml of bottled lemonade in an ice pop mold.

20. Chips & Salsa
10 baked tortilla chips with 1/4 cup salsa.

21. Frozen Grapes
Freeze around 28 grapes to munch on at a later time.

22. Tropical Smoothies
Blend 1/4 cup of 100-percent pineapple juice, 1/4 cup of orange juice, and 1/4 cup of apple juice. Top with ice.

23. Grilled Garlic Corn on the Cob
1 small corn cob brushed with 1 teaspoon sautéed minced garlic and 1 teaspoon olive oil, grilled until tender.

24. Air-Popped Popcorn
3 Cups of Air-Popped Popcorn.

25. Vegetables & Ranch Dressing
Combine 1 cup of broccoli, one celery stalk and 2 small capsicums (bell peppers) with 2 Tablespoons of Low-Fat Ranch Dressing.

26. Greek Yogurt & Raspberries
Combine ½ cup of plain Greek yogurt with 1/3 cup of fresh raspberries.

27. Sugar Snap Peas
1 cup of sugar snap peas paired with two tablespoons of homemade white bean dip (tutorial here).

28. Banana Chips
1 sliced small banana dipped in lemon juice and baked (tutorial here).

29. Strawberries & Goat Cheese
10 large strawberries with 1 tablespoon soft goat cheese.

30. Mashed Avocado Crackers
Top a few whole-grain crackers with 2 tablespoons of mashed avocado.

31. Walnuts & Raspberries
Mix ¾ cup of berries with 4 walnut halves.

32. Apple & Almond Butter
1 small apple, sliced with 1 tablespoon of almond butter.

33. Cucumbers & Cheese
1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 1 cup of sliced cucumber.

34. English Muffin & Kiwi
1/2 wholewheat English muffin, 1/2 kiwi and 1 teaspoon of cream cheese.

35. Chocolate Banana Rice Cake
1 small wholewheat rice cake with 1 teaspoon of Nutella and 1/2 banana.

36. Broccoli & Ranch
1 cup raw broccoli florets and 1 tablespoon of low-fat ranch dressing.

37. Watermelon & Feta
1 cup of watermelon with 14 grams of feta.
Optional: fresh mint leaves.

38. Edamame
1/2 cup of edamame.

39. Vanilla & Banana Smoothie
Blend 1/3 cup sliced banana and 1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt.
Optional: 1 handful ice.

40. Tomato & Mozzarella
1 sliced tomato with 28 grams of mozzarella.
Optional: salt and pepper.

41. Mixed Berries
Combine 1/2 cup of blueberries, 1/2 raspberries and 1/2 cup of strawberries.

42. Almond Butter & Celery
1 medium celery stalk with 1 tablespoon almond butter.

43. Cheese & Tomato Toastie
Sprinkle 15g of grated, low-fat cheese, 40g of sliced tomato and a dash of spring onion onto a wholegrain crispbread. Place in a pre-heated grill for a few minutes and you’re good to go.

44. Yogurt & Berries
Combine ¼ cup low fat vanilla yogurt with ½ cup mixed blueberries and raspberries.

45. Celery & Guacamole
Pair 2 sliced celery stalks with 2 tablespoons of guacamole.

46. Cucumber & Goats Cheese
1/2 cup of sliced cucumber with 28 grams of goats cheese.

47. Dark Chocolate
5 squares of dark chocolate.

48. Apple Chips
1/2 cup unsweetened, baked apple slices (tutorial here).

49. Corn Muffin
1/2 medium corn muffin.

50. Banana Smoothie
Blend 100mL of semi-skimmed milk and 1/4 cup of mashed, overly ripe bananas.
